Welcome to the website of E.S.K.V. Attila, the student korfball association of Eindhoven!

With more than 70 members, Attila offers a wide range of opportunities for both korfball enthusiasts and those seeking a great social experience. You can get to know korfball at a beginners level, only join training sessions, play competitively in a team or just take part in our social activities.

We have several types of memberships:

• Training members have one training session per week, together with our midweek team. During the outdoor season, this takes place every Monday evening from 7 PM to 8.20PM. This group is especially for beginners, those with littele experience or those with limited time. If you only want to join training sessions, this membership costs €20 per year. If you also want to participate in activities, tournaments, and events, you can become an “Active Attiliaan” for €40 per year.
• Midweek members train together with the training members once a week, but they also play matches during the week, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Their outdoor training sessions are from 7 pm to 8:30pm. They play recreational korfball (“breedte korfbal”), and the full-year membership costs €85 (with reduced fees if you join for only part of the year).
• Competition members train twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Outdoor training sessions are from 8:30 pm to 10 pm. On Saturdays, they play league matches. Attila has two competition teams: Attila 1 and Attila 2. In the 2024/2025 season, Attila 1 played in the 4th class outdoors and the 3rd class indoors, while Attila 2 played in the reserve 4th class outdoors and the reserve 3rd class indoors. The full-year fee for these teams is €125 (with reduced fees if you join for only part of the season).
• It is also possible to only join the social activities of Attila. In that case, you can become a ‘Sfeermakers‘  for €20 per year (so without playing korfball).

During the outdoor season (mid-March to early November), all training sessions and home matches take place at C.K.V. Rust Roest (address: Rijstenweg 9, Eindhoven). After the outdoor season, our training sessions and matches move indoors to the Student Sports Center (SSC) on the Eindhoven University of Technology campus.
Please note that all Attila members who participate in training or matches need a valid SSC sports card.
Attila welcomes all students who want to play korfball, regardless of their skill level.

Training sessions are planned as follows for the upcoming season:

• Monday 19:00-20:30 Traning/midweek members
• Monday 20:30-22:00 Competition members
• Wednesday 20:30-22:00 Competition members

Matches for midweek matches typically take place on a Tuesday or Wednesday and competition players have matches on Saturday.

There’s more to Attila than just korfball. Every two weeks, we host a social gathering at our favorite pub and sponsor, the Feestfabriek on Stratumseind. In addition to these regular meetups, we organize a variety of events including dinners, tournaments both in the Netherlands and abroad, parties, weekend trips, and various other activities.
